I couldn’t be more pleased. Easy to install and very affordable. Would highly recommend this filter system.
Part was expensive. I had to hire a plumber to come out and tell me why it was leaking. Turns out the O rings in it were bad. On a brand new part!! This water softener has been nothing but trouble since our purchase which wasnt even a year ago. Also had to buy another part. Hoping this will fix it. Our water is still rusty and is turning dog water bowls yellow. Ridiculous for how much we paid for this unit.
I bought the clear filter housing with the intention to use standard 10"x4.5" filters. Before purchasing, I called sales to verify and was told that the clear or blue housing should be V1 as only the grey is explicitly labeled V2. I was told the V1 housing should be able to use standard filters. When I received the clear housing, it is the exact same as the one that comes with the V2 filter. This was a complete waste of time and money, and now I need to figure out how to return this useless housing and what I need to do moving forward to use standard filters.
The new brine tank dip tube and float assembly was received quicker than expected and solved my clogged pickup strainer issue. This is a very high quality assembly and drop in plug n play replacement, minutes to install.
I just began using this Recharge product. I decided that I’m going to take the best care of my water softener. Keeping it working at its maximum efficiency and for maximum life expectancy has become a priority.
I was astonished how much sediment this filter separated from the water in only 6 months. Filtering the water is now an essential part of our home maintenance.
I purchased an Aquasure water softener in Feb. 2026 and I had an accident with the Owner's Manual and needed another one. Aquasure customer support responded immediately and supplied a manual for me. Thank you Aquasure!
P.S. The 40,000 grain softener is working to perfection, very pleased with my purchase.
Great product. This was the first time after a few orders I’ve had to contact customer service. They were very nice and helpful and resolved the issue immediately. Great to do business with.
I bought the Aquasure Harmony 48,000 unit in 2022 after my Commers that I had for 21 hears wore out. The price was right and it seems to get good reviews. Here's the problem it isn't good. It ran fine for 3 years and then started having problems and when you reach out to "Aquasure Support" you are required to go through a long troubleshooting process for them to help you. I wasn't going to fix it myself so I had my plumber come and check it out. It worked for a while longer and then just stopped completely. Second problem - they would not honor the 5 year warranty because I didn't register my product online, even though I was able to produce a receipt of purchase. Most reputable companies will honor the warranty regardless. Not Aquasure. More negatives: It also uses a unusually high amount of salt. I was buying 6-8 bags a month. The unit would not soften unless it did a daily Regen. So it was using a lot of water and salt. From my experience it's not worth it. Spend the money for a well known brand with a good warranty.
Filters fit well and a good price when you buy a two pak
My softener is relatively new (under 3 years) and I wanted to ensure that it receives proper maintenance and continues to provide wonderful water! We have been very happy with our system. No scale, water marks on glass, laundry and dishwasher efficiency have been great and uses very little salt. Highly satisfied with our investment.
We bought this because we knew a boil alert was coming due to water line work in our city. The day after this beauty arrived and I installed it the 2 day boil alert was announced. We helped our neighbors by supplying clean, fresh and filtered water to them. I have an Aquasure whole house sediment, chlorine, taste, color and scale filter installed before our Aquasure 36,000 grain softener that feeds into the UV-C filter. I installed all three components myself with intermediate plumbing skills. Customer support is second to none. Thank you Aquasure for making systems that provide us peace of mind!!!!!
Work perfectly. Tech support went over and above, after delivery problem.
1 bag came in broken so I'm am short a Bag of Resin
Love the filters the water here is really really bad
System not delivered. Contacted AQSupport 3 times. Was told system was on the way. It has not been delivered. This is a month. They have not gotten back to me with a status update after 2 more emails and a phone call.
The product failed! The grains filled my entire water system and I had to pay a plumber to clean all the lines and faucets, Everything ! Not a happy customer!! I threw the softener in the garbage.
Customer service was excellent and the filters look very well made and the water looks Cristal clear and no hint of iron flavor. Very happy with the quality of the product.
Literally didn’t send me this part. They sent a male to male.
I bought this in January. After a delivery problem I got it installed. Pretty easy diy install, and it functions perfectly, and our water tastes so good right out of the faucet now and no more hard water
This control head was purchased to replace my original (purchased with entire softener early 2024). The softener stopped using salt so I called Aquasure and was told that I needed a new control head. It was shipped with no instructions for installation, so I thought it was a do-it-yourself. After removing the bad unit I installed the new one - that is when the problems began.
After turning it on - the resin filled the water lines inside my home. Again I contacted Aquasure and was told I needed a new softener - which I purchased.
After having the water lines cleared of resin I started the softener which worked fine.
I find that the Riser tube bottom distribution basket had unscrewed apparently during the control head change and the resin was sent into my home. See attached picture. I reassembled the distribution basket (and added glue to the threads for security).
My questions are: 1) Why was the bottom distribution basket not tight enough to withstand the removal process? 2) Why are instructions not provided with major parts? 3) Why did the original control head stop working? 4) Why did the softener stop using salt?
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that you encountered difficulties during the replacement process.
When replacing a control head, it’s important to ensure that internal components such as the riser tube and bottom distributor remain properly positioned and secured during removal and reinstallation. If these components shift during servicing, it can allow resin to enter the plumbing once the system is pressurized.
Our support team is always available to assist with installation guidance and troubleshooting, and we strongly encourage customers to reach out during the replacement process so we can help prevent issues like this from occurring.
Regarding the original unit no longer using salt, that symptom typically indicates that the system is not completing the brine draw portion of the regeneration cycle. Our team is usually able to help diagnose the cause and walk through potential solutions before replacement becomes necessary.
We appreciate your feedback and encourage any customers performing service or replacement on their system to contact our support team so we can help ensure the installation goes smoothly.,Aquasure Customer Support, clientresponse
I purchased this system in Oct of 2024 and installed it during a whole house repipe in Mar of 25. (Leaking copper pipe in the slab).
I did the repipe myself and built a small exterior enclosure for the water heater and this system.
For 45 years we drank the unfiltered, county water here in Hillsborough county FL. and thought nothing of it.
We always had the chlorine smell, which was really strong in the mornings. We also knew the water was extremely hard, however, we always figured it was treated by the county so it must be clean
The county treats the water with chloramine routinely and annually they "super chlorinate" with chlorine.
Look up those chemicals on the web.
After installing this system, we immediately noticed the change in the water.
There was no more smell, and it felt "silky" on your skin when you showered or washed your hands.
Since we did a repipe, I changed all faucets and showers. We noticed there was no more calcified hard water crust on the shower head or faucet aerators.
I decided to change my prefilter and the RO filters at 6 monthe intervals. The first change was Aug of 2025.
During this change, it was shocking when I saw what the prefilter caught.
I just performed the second change and wanted to show what the system catches.
The rust and sediment in the pictures was in the prefilter only. You still have the whole house carbon filter and the RO drinking water filters for even more filtration before it goes in the house.
I let the water in the glass settle on the counter so the sediment can be clearly seen.
We supply our refrigerator which also has a filter and an under counter ice machine with the RO.
I kept the settings in the controller at the default values the system was shipped with so it regenerates at 1000 gal. Intervals at 2 a.m.
I buy 2 bags of salt pellets a month from Lowes. It costs about $20.00/mo. And i perform the 15 minute backflush every 10 days.
We use the backflush water for the rose beds so it doesn't go to waste.
If you are even thinking about installing a filter/softener system, I highly recommend this system.
Aquasure's cutomer service is also outstanding.
During the install, I overtightened one of the fittings in the carbon filter head like an idiot, and cracked the head.
I contacted Aquasure and though I did have to pay for it, (no dummy clause in the warranty), in 2 days I had a new head and put the system together.
After 1 year of use, I can honestly say this was one purchase I am EXTREMELY happy with.
It took much too long to receive the product. Shipping time was very lengthy.
Installed with Harmony Series 48k softener one year ago. Very disappointing overall.
Does not provide the level of clean water I got from my previous system that was much easier and less expensive to maintain. This is a very expensive system to maintain since you have to flush gallons of water through it weekly. My water bill is insanely expensive now. Which would be ok, I guess, if it actually filtered my water well. It does not. For a house with a whole house water treatment system - I spend a lot of time (and money) fighting debris and gross water.
To recap, I get to pay a higher water bill, buy new, expensive filters several times a year, and I still have crap in my water. Wish I’d just paid for the Culligan Man.
