HOW OFTEN AND HOW MUCH SALT NEEDS TO BE PUT IN THE SYSTEM ?

You should have started with 80 lbs of salt. That amount normally lasts our customers around 2-3 months. Once the salt level is about 2-3" from the bottom of the tank, you'll need to add another 80 lbs.

Can I use a signature 4800gpg whole house water treatment combination that states max water hardness at 90ppm if my water is 100 ppm? Or do I need to get the 6400 rated at 110ppm even though I don’t have that many bathrooms?

90ppm is on the lower end of hanrdess at 5.24 gpg. The 48,000 is able to easily handle this hardness.

How does the Signature system differ from the Signature Elite system. I don't see any obvious difference in what is listed as part of the whole house filtration/softener system. the overall system has the pre-filter, water treatment, softener system, plus a reverse osmosis undersink.

You are refering to the same system - signature elite will be including everything we have to offer. Water softener, Fortitude tank, pre-filter, and RO system.

Can you replace just the media or do you buy a preloaded tank?

You have the option to do both.

Does the AS-SE1000A system remove iron with the KDF85 upgrade? we have well water, with a lot of clay in the ground. We also have 3/4" piping, not 1" What is the "Quantum UV Upgrade........

Water softener with iron upgrade Fm (Fine Mesh resin) will remove any iron above 2PPM of iron up to 10PPM of iron. The KDF85 helps remove chloramine, chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, tatse, ordorr and VOCs. 
Once you have placed your order and call us with an ordering number we can replace the 1" to a 3/4" yoke. 

UV upgrade kills microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, mold and yeast.

In what order do you install the whole house water system

No, standard units have 8% cross link cation resin and fine mesh units have 10% cross link cation resin.

Is it necessary to have it professionally installed?

If you are comfortable with self install, you are more than fine to avoid hiring a plumber. Our customers do both.

How many gallons of wasted water for 100 filtered gallons of water? Thank you.

The RO system will be the only unit within this bundle producing drain water. It's a 3:1 ratio, for every 3 gallons of drain water fro mthe RO, 1 gallon of treated water is produced.

Can AS-SE1000A be used outdoors?

An outdoor install is unfortunately not recommended as it voids the warranty. Due to the electrical control valve head, we would not be able to guarantee the best performance if the system is exposed to the elements. When exposed to the elements, there is also the chance for rust to occur, which can be a slow killer for the system. In rare instances, certain homes are plumed to have the inlet/outlet meet the water softener outside. If this is the case, we highly recommend building a small shed or enclosure around the system to keep it safe from the elements.

does the activate carbon or copper/zinc tank need to be replaced? If so how often and how expensive?

In signature elite series whole house water filter package 100k gallons, is softener a harmony 32, 48 or 64k grains of hardness unit?

AS-SE1000A will pair with our 48,000 grain softener.

Yes it does remove chlorine

If you have issues with iron or if there is iron present in your water then we would recommend the iron upgrade.

What is the warranty on this combo unit?

Standard 1 year warranty after purchase, customer has 60 days from purchase to register the unit for an additonal 4 years.

How much water does it use for regeneration? How often does it need to backwash?

45-60 gallons during regeneration. Backwash - city water, once a month. Well water, once every two weeks.

What is the nsf rating of the softener and RO system also the filter filtration?

Only the RO system is NSF certified at this time.

With the Signature Elite Series Whole House Filter with Water Softener, can the backwash of the filter be done automatically, or is it always a manual process?

Backwash is an automatic cycel, once the set gallons have hit a zero they unit will wait for 2am to regenerate. You can also do a manual cycle if needed.

If you are talking about the inlet and outlet valves, the system comes standard with a 1" yoke connector, but we also have 3/4" available upon request. 
Without knowing your water's hardness, the 48,000 Grain Harmony uses about 45-60 gallons of water when it regenerates. Typically, we want the system to regenerate within 2-4 weeks to maintain its lifespan and efficiency, so in a month you would go through about 90-120 gallons if it is regenerating twice a month. Does the system work with potassium chloride?

Yes!

How many gallons of water does your well need to pump per minute, to do the backwash flush. Our well pumps 5 GPM. If it needs more GMP, would a larger holding tank do the trick?

Our systems require a minimum of 5GPM to work effectively, but higher would be recommended.
Increasing the flowrate would be out of our wheelhouse and would be best to speak with a plumber about that.

We had the Harmony Series | 48,000 GRAINS Water Softener w/ Fine Mesh Resin installed and then later learned that the water also has hydrogen sulfide which is not removed by the water softener. Is it possible to purchase just the part of the whole house system that would filter the hydrogen sulfide?

Can you get the Water Dispenser in Flat Black instead of Chrome?

We currently only offer the faucet for the Reverse Osmosis in Chrome or Brushed Nickel.

How long does the backwash take to complete for the water treatment tank? What size is the internal distributor tube on the water treatment tank? Where is the product manufactured? On both the water treatment and the softener do they have full port valves?

The backwash, or Regeneration cycle, takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete. 

The size of the internal distributor tube inside the water treatment tank can vary depending on the size of the resin tank which can be from about 40" to 50".

Aquasure Harmony Water Softeners are designed and built in the U.S. 

On both the water treatment and the softener, they are sized for 1" to 3/4" NPT.

Does your water treatment tank backwash like the water softener?

Yes, if you choose the add-on feature, our Fortitude Pro series is capable of backwashing like our water softener. The time frame for backwashing the tank will vary, depending on your home’s specific needs, but typically, we recommend backwashing the tank every 7-10 days.

Can you install this in a mobile home, and are you located in Michigan?

We are lovated in California, yes you may install the unit in a mobile home if the space is avaliable.
