How often do the filters need to be replaced and what does it cost for replacement filters and how much salt does the water softener use?

Stages 1,2,4 on the RO are replaced every 6-12 months. The membrane of the RO is replaced every 2 years. You can buy all 4 for $100.

The softener will need to have 80 lbs. of salt maintained in the tank.

Does it remove sand as well?

Yes, the first stage filter does this

What is the typical cost for installation?

Installation cost with depend on the plumber. We do not offer install with our products.

How do I know if I have a 1" NPT?

This refers to your house connection and can be measureed with a measureing tape to determine the size.

Hi, I would like to buy the ro system under the counter so ee should be able to drink the water and it should have the best taste possible However we do have hard water so it looks like that the filter will not be enough? So I don’t want to pt a system in my house for softening since I don’t want to be busy with adding salt constantly. So is there any other suggestion option I can have? Also maybe it will be a good idea to install a small softener just before the ro system so at least that water will be fine. Will something like this work? Do you have any item suggestion? I know the description says best for 1-2 bathrooms and up to 3 people. There are 4 people in our house with 2 of those people being under the age of 5. Will this unit be suffice for our household?

Hi Scott! This unit will work, but if your water hardness is above 15 GPG then I would definitely recommend to size up to the 48,000 grain water softener.

Will this remove arsenic from the water

The reverse osmosis system in this bundle would remove arsenic and 90%+ of other contaminants in your water at your kitchen sink.

What needs to be replaced after some time of use ?

The Reverse Osmosis system uses a four-stage filtration package, those four filters need to be replaced on a yearly basis. As for the softener, depending on your usage, you typically will need 80lbs of salt added to it every 2-3 months.

Do you have a whole house reverse osmosis system only with a UV light. I do not have hard water.

We do not offer a whole house reverse osmosis system. We do offer our UV filter for whole house applications.
