Is this the connection to the valve head or is it the connection for the salt container, or does each have this connection??

This is the Brine Line Connection to goes into the control head.

Does this fit the Harmony water softener?

Yes, this fitting will for the Harmony Series Brine Line 

Does this come with the corresponding o-ring? What is the size of the o-ring?

When replacing the brine line quick connection on Harmony Lite, is it just screw old off and new one on? Any special considerations or steps?

On the brine line quick connect there is a white piece and little blue button in the inside near the threading. These will need to be removed and inserted to the new fitting before installing
