An outdoor install is unfortunately not recommended as it voids the warranty. Due to the electrical control valve head we would not be able to guarantee the best performance if the system is exposed to the elements. When exposed to the elements there is also the chance for rust to occur which can be a slow killer for the system. In rare instances certain homes are plumed to have the inlet/outlet meet the water softener outside. If this is the case then we highly recommend building a small shed or enclosure around the system to keep it safe from the elements.

Can you get it with wifi compatibility?

Our units are not compatibale with wifi or bluetooth.

Does it alert you when it needs salt?

No, this will need to be checked manually. You will maintain 80lbs. of salt in the brine tank. 

This typically lasts around 2-3 months depending on water usage.

I have the Aquasure harmony lite water system now it has two white caps one goes on top of the white tube so where does the other one goes please help me with this

One cap should be input onto the top of the white cylinder and another at the bottom of the cylinder.

Hi, I just bought the All In One, Harmony Lite water softener, I took it out of the box in order to find the manual in hopes to find your winterizing instructions, but it is not included in the manual. I purchased it for our cabin in Minnesota, and it is not heated in the winter which means that temperatures are below freezing. You will need to remove rouhgly half of the water from the softener tank. For this, you will need to remove the system from the plumbing, remove the control head, then syphon the water from the center of the distirbution pipe. 

Then reinstall the system to the plumbing and leave it in bypass. 

You can also leave some salt pellets in the resin tank to help further prevent freezing.

What is the flow rate? Many water softeners this size don’t have a high enough flow rate (eg two people showering at the same time).

There is no difference other than the grain capacity like you mentioned.

Will this work on a well system

yes our units are for well water as well.

Is this unit good for iron removal

The standard resin can reduce up to 2 PPM of iron and the fine mesh resin can reduce up to 10 PPM of iron.

Can the optional 3/4 be out the side? What it the distance front to back on the top with outlet?

The yoke connection is only connected to the back of the unit. 12" from the control head to the yoke connection.

It is suggested to use the pre-filter but it will be up to the customer, Correct pre-filter needs to be hooked up to a pipe.

will this eliminate water spots on a vehicle ?

this system is not meant for car washes but if you do use it for that then there is a chance that water spots can be eliminated.

Do you have a water softener model that can treat well water with 3ppm of iron and 36,000 grains of hardness?

Our fine mesh units can handle up to 10ppm of iron and all models have a max of 110gpg.

how much water is used for regeneration?

Our systems use between 40-60 gallons per regeneration.

Does it have a Grains Per Gallon setting?

The GPG is factored into the gallon count in setting three. We use a gallon calculation formula that gives you a set amount of gallons based on your system size, the water hardness and the amount of people in your home.

How do you reset the clock?

You can go through a factory restore or simply enter the settings by pressing the two buttons on the left, once, then press the curved arrow to enter into the first setting and the hours will flash. Use the UP or DOWN arrows to adjust. Then press the curved arrow again to shift to the minutes to adjust. Press the recycle button to exit the settings.

How much water should there be in the brine tank?

The tank should refill to about half way, depending on the salt level. Upon installation, you should add 5 gallons of water manually.

With the AQUASURE Lite What is the downside to the single all-in-one solution as opposed to the more conventional 2 primary component systems?

The all in one is ideal for those seeking to save space. This model only comes in 32,000 or 34,000 so larger households may need to consider other options like our 2 component units.

what organic and inorganic, chemicals are filters?

Most VOCs will get filtered out by the carbon filter. This filter is not ideal for removing inorganic substance.

How many gallons of water are used by the Harmony Lite Compact All-in-one unit in the regeneration cycle? Also, since it contains only 1.0 cu. ft. of media, how much more often will it be regenerating than the full size units for a given water usage? Thanks.

30-45gallons consumption during regernation. If you are city water we recommend at least once a month regeration, if you are on well water recommended it every 2 weeks.

My muni water Total Hardness is about 180 ppm and Iron is about .2 ppm. My household is only 2 adults. Will a standard Harmony Lite suffice or should I get a fine mesh upgrade unit. Thanks

Yes, the Harmony Lite standard resin can handle up to 2ppm of iron.

I have a well. Does the system connect to the supply before or after the pressure tank?

The water softener will need to be installed after the pressure tank.

I heard a hissing noise and went to look inside the softener and there was no water in the tank only salt. Not sure if it is working correctly

The Harmony Lite is 34,000 Unit that is a smaller,cabinet style unit. The Harmony series come in 3 different sizes, 32k, 48k and 64k.  They each come with a resin tank and brine tank.

My house is plumed with 3/4" PEX. Will affect the softener if I use a 3/4" to 1" fitting on my current piping to match the fittings on the softener?

We have 3/4 or 1 inch connections, this will not affect the performance of the softener in any way.

I have a harmony. How much salt will it use in a month

Thank you for reaching out to us. Outside of regeneration, the water level should always be about half-filled in the salt tank, regardless of the salt level. You should have started with 80 lbs of salt. That amount normally lasts our customers around 2-3 months. Once the salt level is about 2-3" from the bottom of the tank, you'll need to add another 80 lbs.

How much salt should be put in on start up?

80 lbs of salt needed.

To help in conserving water, can you clarify that the system regenerates based on the amount of water processed, not on a set schedule.

Yes, if you have the system set to Time Meter Delay (TM) then the system will only regenerate according to water usage.

Since using the soft water we have noticed a pinkish color on the grout of the shower floor even through we rinse thoroughly. What causes that?

Please check with a water professional or a licensed plumber. 

The water softener is only made up of gold resin beads, so anything pink would not be rooted from the softener.

We highly recommend against using the water in the house while the softener is regenerating.
This is why the standard regeneration time is 2AM.

In your information or pictures on the Cabinet Softener System there in no information about the brine back flush connection. Where does it connect? I assume back flushing is necessary

The system backwashes through the drain connection on the control head.

I don't see any salt back flush discharge line in your illustrations. Does it require back flush and where is the discharge outlet?

What is the difference in the Fine Mesh and Standard Resin?

The standard resin (D) will remove 2ppm of iron and the fine mesh (FM) will remove 10ppm of iron.

How many GPM can the system pump out? Meaning can it handle two showers at the same time?

This softener has a GPM of 12. We would not know if this would support two showers at the same time as there are a lot of factors that can effect that.

How to change display?

Display can not be changed.

Can this be put outside. What I have now is outside and needs to be replaced.

No, this system is designed to be installed indoors. If it must be outside, it needs to have it's own enclosure to protect the softener.

Salt and water levels don’t appear to be changing in my tank. How can I know for sure that my system is working properly?

Is the model lowes sells different from the model hl34fm? What must be done if the power goes out for a couple of hours to get the unit back in operation?

HL34FM includes the fine mesh resin. When power goes out, only necessary change is to update the time.

Does the 32000 grain system come with the high pressure water tank? Is everything I need for operation in the box?

This system comes with the resin tank included. Yes, everything needed for the water softener to function is included except for the salt.

How do I know if I need the fine mesh resin?

Fine Mesh is for Iron removal, if you have iron levels 2PPm and above we would recommend using Fine Mesh resin.
