The Sediment filter can be rinsed with water only every 6 months for two cycles.

The third cycle of 6 months (18 month period) you are then required to replace that filter.

Is there a procedure for washing the washable filters?

Typically, you can just remove the filter from the housing (after turning off the main water supply and releasing the pressure with the red button on top) and use a garden hose to rinse off the pleated filter. You may rinse them off in this manner twice before needing to purchase a new pleated filter.

hi, what is the difference between AF-PS30-4510 and AF-PS-30HFS? what is the difference between Fortitude V Series and Fortitude V2 Series? are they both accept 10 x 4.5" filter?

The Fortitude V & V2 series filters have slightly different designs and are not cross-compatible. These filters perform the same function effectively; they are both pleated sediment filters that filter contaminants down to 30 microns in size.
