  • Which whole house filtering system would be recommended to reduce faucet build up with little water waste as possible. Odor and taste isnt an issue, just hardness.

    Any of the water softeners would help with hardness.

  • does this work with well water that has been filtered?

    The 2 Stage Whole House Sediment-Carbon Water Filter 20" does work for well water sources. The pleated sediment filter (1st stage) also has the benefit of being washable up to 3 times a year. We advise not exceeding more than 3 washes as it may increase the micron hole size over time. The pleated sediment filter can simply be rinsed down with a water hose once released from the housing.

  • Will this system stop water spots and eliminates scale build up. I'm looking for a system that will stop water spots and scale build up. Please advise.

    This is a pre-filter for a water softener and does not remove hardness. For water spots and scale build-up, you need our water softener.

  • what is the minimum inlet psi for this unit

    We recommend at least 45PSI, but the minimum is 30PSI.

  • Could I get a filter combo made of Carbon filter and Scale filter? I have city water with a 4 grains/gallon hardness.
