  • Does the Fortitude V Series 10 " High Flow system work efficiently with a 3/4" PEX supply line?

    The Fortitude V Series only supports 1-inch NPT for the input/output. We recommend you contact a plumber for more information on how you may need to adapt your water system to be compatible with 1-inch NPT.

  • We get black scale on our faucets will this Filter solve the problem

    That can be a sign of manganese or iron in the water. You will want to have a water test done prior to purchases to ensure your water needs are being met. Carbon block filters are great for taste, odor, chlorine and orther chemicals in water.

  • Does this filter papa

    This will filter out 50% of PFOAs. To remove this fully, you will need an RO.

  • How long do the filter AS-F110CB5 need to be change

    10" Filter needs to replaced every 6 months.

  • Does this filter remove PFAS from well water

    Yes, carbon filters can help remove PFAS in water. However, look into a GAC filter such as the AS-FS25SCZ. Well water sources will clog carbon block filters.

  • My well is about 76 years old and never had a filter on it but now I am setting iron stamina in the toilet tank and in the sink and clogged shower heads! A few years ago I replaced the riveted pressure tank with a pressure ballast type tank! Where exactly should I install this filter and should I shock the well? I live in Illinois no where near farm animals! I think I only need an iron particulate filter? What do you suggest?

    For iron, the only products we have to offer are our fine mesh resin tank water softeners. Our fine mesh resin can remove up to 10ppm of ferrous iron. Our systems can only partially remove ferric iron. If you have iron bacteria, you'll need a UV filter.

    For rust removal, you'll want a filter that includes the pleated sediment.

  • How much does it reduce the water pressure? Also does this get installed before or after the pressure tank?

    This filter can drop up to 4.5psi at 70gpm. Pre-filters should be installed after the pressure tank and before the softener.

  • Will this remove the white powdery material left behind after the water evaporates?

    The white powdery material you are referring to is water hardness. It is left by calcium and magnesium which makes the water hard. A carbon pre-filter will not filter that. You need a water softener.
