Fortitude V Series | 10" High-Capacity 25 Micron Dual-Purpose Sediment and Carbon Filter

I have this filter set up and notice a slight drop in pressure when using the washing machine at the same time as other faucets. Wondering if it's possible to switch to the 20" and fix this minor issue or would it be the same results, and are the tops the same or would I have to switch it out also. Flow rates aren't listed but I do see you offer high flow filters also for both sizes

Our pre-filters should not affect the water pressure unless it's clogged and time for replacement. The 20" filters won't fit into this housing, you'll need to purchase the new filters that include the mounting bracket and housing if you want to change the type of filter. Hope this helps!

How many gallons does the filter last.

The 10" filter will last 6 months or every 50,000 gallons before a replacement cartridge should be installed.

My Harmony water softener bundle included a Fortitude V Series 10" High Flow 30 Micron Pleated Sediment Replacement Filter (AF-PS30-4510). Can I replace the original filter with this dual-purpose filter as the pre-filter for the water softener?

Yes, you can replace that filter with a Fortitude V Series standard filter.

I currently have a Pentek GAC-BB filter. Is this filter comparable to that filter or is there a different filter I should consider?

These filters may be rinsed up to two times every 6 months.

I purchased a Aquasure Harmony Series 48,000 Grain Water Softener with Fine Mesh Resin For Iron Removal and Pleated Sediment Pre-filter (48,000 Grain) a few months ago and am wondering if this filter will work in the housing that was sent? I'm assuming it's a standard housing, but there's a sticker on the bracket that says to use the V2 filters. Please advise if this Fortitude V Series | 10" High-Capacity 25 Micron Dual-Purpose Sediment and Carbon Filter will work in place of my Aquasure Fortitude 30 Micron Pleated Sediment Whole House Water Filter - 10" x 4.5"? Just looking to try and get rid of a slight "iron odor" that remains after installing the system. Thanks in advance.

Our Fortitude V filters and Fortitude V2 filters are different in size. The dual purpose is only available in our V series - the comparable V2 filter is the Triple Purpose (AF-SCZ-25HFS).
