Fantastic

I did alot of research to find a softner that would work with my hard iron water. I have had this hooked up for a little over a week now an no orange stains in my tub.

bought as a replacement, based on people in the house, not size of the house. Works excellently. Very happy with this purchase and the pre-filter is a bonus. Wish I understood my options, etc. on the control panel better but the defaults work fine.

Extremely pleased! No more hard water.

Finally! Soft water.
Our water is very hard at 17 GPG. I not only used the Aquasure site to check their database, but I did the math with our 2022 water report. It was within 0.5 GPG of the website.
Out faucets and shower heads were always calcified. When we showered, our skin felt tight.
We bought the AS-HL34A all-in-one cabinet water softener as we have very limited space to put it.
The install was straight forward and easy, for our plumber LOL. Because I am a home brewer of beer, I need to be sure about my water. So I had him add a valve manifold as pictured in the AS-HL34A documentation so I could bypass or blend water to my needs.
Showers feel good now and even my hair feels soft without conditioner. Soap goes further too.
We will have to get used to the taste of drinking soft water though. No! It's not salty. It's just that the calcium and magnesium are gone so we're getting a different taste. I like it, my wife is still on the fence. ROFL
It's a great water softener. The fact that they can get 34,000 grains in this small size is great. The included Fortitude V2 pre-filter is a plus.
We love it and thanks to Madison who answered all my pre-sales questions!
