For well-water sources, typically you would replace the resin in 6-7 years depending on the water quality. You can either replace the resin inside the tank or replace the tank itself with another pre-filled resin tank.

Do you have a user manual on how to replace resin? Our water is very hard and we don't want to replace the whole system every few years. I hope replacing the resin could be easy.

You would be able to replace just the resin with purchasing resin bags and/or just by purchasing a new black tank with resin however, you would not need to worry about this any time soon. Our resin tanks are pre-filled with resin and are designed to last between 8-10 years, however, the lifespan of the resin will always vary based on the condition of water and its environment.
