Aquasure Fortitude V & V2 Series Replacement Housing Canister - Standard Size

Is there a difference (other than color) between the grey V2 canister and the blue and clear filters, or are they interchangeable with one another? I have a Fortitude V2 filter and housing, but I'm interested in getting a clear canister to make it easier to see when it's time to replace the filter.

No difference in the V2 canisters on the color you purchase, they are interchangeable. You will be okay if you purchase the clear canister. 

I currently have a V2 unit which only accepts one filter type as it is shorter. If I buy the original V housing for 10” filters will it thread into the V2 unit that I already have so that I can then use 10” filters?

Hi Don, the difference between our V and V2 filter systems is the cap that is plumbed in. The stem in the center is different for the V and V2.
