Harmony Series | 32,000 Grains Water Softener | 10" Sediment/GAC/Zinc Triple Purpose Whole House Water Filter

We moved from city to country and a well for our water. Not sure why but we existed with only a sediment filter for four years. I guess due to all the other unforeseen expenses that can go with a 100yr old house. Our water was very hard - affecting skin, hair, glasses, dishes etc.
I am no plumber but took on the challenge of installing this Harmony 32000 softener and a prefilter. I made a couple of boneheaded connection mistakes which got me and the floor soaked but in the end it all came together. Tested the newly filtered water and down to near zero on the hardness scale. So we are happy. The programmability of the control unit for the regeneration is nice as well.

I purchased this a year ago and have waited to have a good timeline in which to use it. All I can say is how very pleased we are with this softener. It was reasonably priced and has proven to be a terrific investment.First I had to build a new closet for this to be in. I then had to run pipes into, and make a floor drain in, the location shown in the pictures. The Aquasure arrived in extremely secure packaging, quickly, and safely. Once I was ready to install the unit it was easy to hook up, program, and start the first regeneration.We had a single cabinet unit that I replaced with the Aquasure. That one was fairly new and though I could have sold it through an online list, we took the thing to local dump instead as it was poorly designed, used salt excessively, and needed constant gear adjusting.I mentioned all of that to say that after a year we’ve had not one issue with the Aquasure, have saved a ton of money on salt, and have even purer water than we had with the old one.I also want to salute the customer service people. They are great! If you leave a message they call you right back. After buying it, I realized they had shipped 3/4 inch connectors by mistake and I had plumbed for 1 inch. Well, one call and I had the right connectors two days later! No charge. And if I had any questions about programming or advice I was treated respectfully, courteously, and in a very friendly, competent, and professional way. So kudos to the Customer Service Crew!All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone! After a year, I can say this is the best system we’ve ever had, and would buy it again without a second thought. Hope this review helps.

I've only had the unit installed for a few days. Seems to be working just fine as I can already see the difference in the hardness of the water when showering. The unit is fairly easy to program, however a more thorough explanation of the programming would be helpful. When they speak about water hardness, you really need to know how hard your water is and then how soft you need it. There is not a kit that tells you this information. I will have to locate one just to test the water now that the installation is complete.The unit is very quiet even during the backwash cycle.How the unit will hold up over the years is the important thing. It does come with a generous warranty that I am hoping that I don't have to use.

I purchases this unit about a year ago and it has worked flawlessly (4800gr) until last week when it kept flashing an error reset code. After calling the customer service rep, I was able to obtain some guidance for some self repair which immediately fixed the problem. The unit is now working back to normal with no issues, unfortunately the backwash line was clogged which caused the internal wheel to stop in an impossible spot. After following the reps instructions which took approximately 20 minutes, all is well.KUDOS to the customer service provided and the knowledge about the product that the representative had on the phone! I would definitely purchase another if needed.
