  • Would you install this before or after the water softener?

    Thank you for reaching out to us, you would want to install Fortitude V2 before the water softener, it will remove VOC's, pesticides, chlorine, taste and odor. So you want to remove more contaminants from the water before the water softnere, it also helps with the lifespan. 

  • I have a aquasure water softner and whole house filter, I recently changed from scz 25 hfs to af-spx-25hfs filters since my wife had eczema and we thought too much chlorine. after 3 months, she improved, however I just changed the filter after 4months, then flushed my toilet and the water was black, I had to drain the tank and clean it, no odor. the 3 other toilets in the house are fine. Why wondering if this is manganese, does that filter cover it. I'm cleaning the tank w/ clorox and vinegar so if its a coating of mold that will kill it, just weird, only 1 toilet
