    It will all depend on your water quality and consumption rate.

    We expect an average of 3-6months of use out of this filter.

  • Can I use 10" x 4.5" Whole House Water Filter to replace SKU: AF-SCZ-25HFS

    No, the V2 canisters only accept our V2-style filters and will not accept standard 4.5" x 10" filters.

  • how often should this be replaced-family of two old people

    This filter cartridge should be replaced every 6 months depending on your water quality.

  • What are the micron sizes of the filter layers. The label only says 25 microns, which is pretty large. Are the inner layers smaller than that? I have a 5 micron filter now.

    The Aquasure high flow 5-micron carbon block filter made of high-density coconut shell carbon. It helps reduce unpleasant taste, odor, chlorine, and other contaminants from water.

    We also have a 25-micron dual-purpose sediment and carbon filter which provides a unique design that first uses the sediment outer layer to remove the majority of suspended particles in the water. In the second stage, an inner carbon core absorbs chlorine, taste, odors, and chemicals. 

    Finally, we have a 30-micron pleated sediment filter which is washable (up to two additional times before needing to be replaced), and maximized for dirt-holding capacity to help reduce sand, dirt & larger particles such as rust; catches "sticks, rocks, and frogs".
